126. Smith Cove

Smith Cove

I borrowed the SeaLife camera from work for me and Daniel’s Smith Cove dive, and finally managed to download the photos.

125. Sunset House

I went diving again with Daniel, to Smith Cove and then Sunset House, where at about forty feet there’s a mermaid.

We also had a good look around Cathy Church’s dive photography shop/gallery.

124. Tying the Knot

I took a ‘nearly new’ Walker Bay 8 for a test run and liked it. My Suzuki engine isn’t too heavy for it. I was a bit wobbly at first, but I think it’ll work. I like that you can add a keel and a mast and sail.  I managed to get Clifton down to $500, including a huge pair of oars.

There are things I’ll miss – it doesn’t plane and it can only carry two people. It’s not bouncy. Even though the seats are also safety floats so it can’t sink, I would prefer to be in an inflatable in rough seas. I realized now I don’t have anything like a life raft.

On the 4th July, Tye and Mario got married at the church in George Town. It was absolutely beautiful; the church looked lovely, the vicar was very cool and all the guests were given little silver wedding bells.

Congratulations Tye and Mario
