164. Errol Flynn Marina

It’s so nice to be back at Errol Flynn marina; Port Antonio is my favorite town in Jamaica. There are lots of cruisers in the bay, most going southwest, some going east. A huge classic yacht, S/V Germania was on the dock.

Backing into its slip

Its main boom was massive

First up was Immigration and Customs, followed by a hot shower, then a beer and some food. Next was laundry, some boat work, fuel and water, lots of cleaning, more provisioning…

There doesn’t seem to be any obvious weather window to Haiti, but Friday/Saturday might work. The problem is its very stormy at the moment, with thunderstorms and rain showers all over the place. It looks like a long, difficult sail to ideally Ile a Vache, but more likely Anse d’Hainault.
